An indoor ice rink in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt 2013
Welcome to the coolest place in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt! In 2013, we created something revolutionary: an indoor ice rink in the middle of the desert! 300 m² of pure fun and refreshment, even in temperatures of 45°C outside – thanks to the state-of-the-art air-cooling system powered by Solkav cooling technology. The concept of an indoor ice rink in such a warm climate may seem ambitious, but its implementation in Sharm El Sheikh proved to be a resounding success. Visitors glided effortlessly across the ice while the sun shone outside. A unique experience! But see for yourself.

Today we'd like to introduce you to one of our past projects from 2016: an architectural innovation in Aarhus, Denmark! With the introduction of this ice rink, Aarhus became the center of modern architecture!
A stunning example of contemporary design, it shines with elegant elements like white EPDM surfaces. The oak benches are not only seating but also solar energy collectors, offering a perfect blend of form and function. Safety and accessibility for visitors are ensured by the organic oak handrails. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a harmonious environment.

In the vibrant city of Istanbul, the winter of 2016 brought with it an exciting addition to its cultural landscape: the Solkav Alu Star Ice Rink. Measuring an impressive 20 x 65 meters, this mobile ice rink introduced the best technology in outdoor ice skating, designed to withstand the city's heat and sun while providing an unforgettable experience for locals and tourists alike. Representing a fusion of cutting-edge technology and recreational enjoyment, the Alu Star Ice Rink offers ice skating enthusiasts a unique opportunity to glide gracefully beneath the Istanbul skyline. Unlike traditional outdoor rinks, which are often limited by weather conditions, this innovative structure boasts resilience against the elements, ensuring consistent and enjoyable ice skating from December to March and beyond.
The decision to introduce the Alu Star ice rink in Istanbul not only enriched the city's cultural offerings but also reflected a commitment to sustainability and adaptability.

The completed 29.5 x 11.5 m² ice rink in the heart of Tbilisi, Georgia, quickly became a popular attraction, attracting people of all ages. We are incredibly proud to see so many people enjoying themselves on the ice! Due to its huge success, the project was even extended for an additional week so that even more visitors could experience the joy of ice skating in this picturesque setting.
This ice rink, with its perfect blend of technical innovation and inviting design, not only brought a festive touch to the city center but also created a fun and active gathering place for families, friends, and tourists alike. In Ferlach, near Klagenfurt—a region known for its passion for ice hockey—the international hockey academy HTC Ferlach is making waves! Known for its success and growing reputation, HTC Ferlach is significantly expanding its facilities. The ice capacity will be doubled: one 30 x 60 cm ice rink, one 27 x 58 cm ice rink, and two 13 x 25 cm ice rinks are planned.

The Armisoy Ski Resort project in Uzbekistan, completed in January 2022. High in the mountains at 1,300 meters, the Armisoy ski resort offers exciting attractions and entertainment options year-round! The facility is designed for 12-month operation and can accommodate up to 600 visitors at a time. Whether summer or winter, there's always something to do here! In winter, there are activities such as ice skating or Bavarian curling on the special ice rink. The surfaces are robust and perfectly prepared for winter activities. In summer, the main area transforms into an inline skating arena, and the curling area becomes a beach volleyball court! Fun and sport are guaranteed.
